Maia is a 1 year 3 month old female Spanish Mastin Cross who was found as a puppy, with her mother and siblings, and taken into rescue.

One year later and she’s still in kennels, constantly overlooked in favour of fluffier and “cuter” dogs.

Since Maia has spent most of her life in kennels, she hasn’t seen much of the world.

As a result, she’s shy around strangers, but bribe her with some treats and she’ll soon be asking for belly rubs!

Maia’s mum is a small Mastin, and Maia has inherited the Mastin ‘look’ and typical calm/gentle nature.

She’s much smaller than a Mastin though – she’s currently only just over 30kg.

Maia is currently in kennels with her sister, Tootsie. The two get on incredibly well – they spend a lot of time alone together and don’t ask for much.

It would be amazing if they could be adopted together, but they can also be homed separately.

They are currently in Spain but can travel to the UK/EU.

Please get in touch if you’re interested in adopting Maia (or Maia and Tootsie together!).
