Zeus is a magnificent Belgian Malinois, a one-year-old male with a striking tan short coat and a distinguished black masked face.
Rescued six months ago from abandonment in a dry river bed along with his siblings, Zeus has undergone a transformation from initial fearfulness to now being as friendly and approachable as a homebred Shepherd.
His journey to trust took four months, but now he displays loyalty and intelligence, walking perfectly on a lead and demonstrating house training.
Despite not having experience with small children, Zeus is super affectionate and easy-going with both people and dogs.
His lively and curious nature makes him a joy to be around, and he happily welcomes attention from anyone willing to give him strokes.
Zeus has a sister named Athena with whom he shares a close bond, and while it would be ideal for them to find a home together, Zeus would also thrive in a household with another friendly dog.
He hasn’t been tested with cats, but he seems indifferent towards them. Due to his lack of exposure to small children, the ideal home for Zeus would have children aged over 12 years.
Currently located in a foster home in Spain, Zeus is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to travel to the UK, with plans for transportation in April. He is in good health, has no reported issues, and has been neutered.
Zeus’s adoption fee will go directly to the Spanish rescue to cover new and excessive EU travel costs, payable via a UK bank account.
All adoptions are contingent upon successful home checks, which are now conducted virtually, with proof of ID and landlord permission required.
