The Iowa Quarter Horse Association held their IQHA State Show, The Mayflower, May 2-5, 2024 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa. The show offered four AQHA and 2 NSBA Judges, with Thursday-Friday judges Mike Edwards and Bobbie Jo Stanton, and
Saturday-Sunday Judges Rebecca Halvorson and Keith Miller.
One of the big hits of the show is the show dads’ faceoff for the Richard Voss Memorial Dads Showmanship! This year, congratulations go to the IQHYA 2024 Richard Voss Memorial Dads Showmanship Champion, Matt Kurth and NoDoubt Im BlazinHot. Trophy presented by Anna Voss Dehrkoop and IQHA Mateer Strong- 2024 Iowa Quarter Horse Association Queen. Thank you to Anna Dehrkoop and Jill Voss Blieu for sponsoring the trophy!
