Ernie, Pablo and Raoul are 1-2-year-old male Beagles.
Raoul, rescued in September from a dire and illegal situation near the rescue base in Spain. He, along with other Beagles, was brought to safety and is now being cared for in a loving environment.
Raoul is still adjusting to life outside of the troubling circumstances he was rescued from. He would do best as an only dog, as it was clear that he was the “top dog” among the group when they first arrived at the rescue.
He is neutered, blood tested, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready for adoption into a home experienced with Beagles or rescue dogs.
Ernie and Pablo are making good progress in the rescue base. They are slowly overcoming their fears and learning to walk on a lead. These two are being introduced to the comforts of a home-like environment, with a cosy lounge area where they can become accustomed to human contact and the pleasures of snuggling.
Though still in the process of learning, both dogs are showing an eagerness to engage with humans and adjust to their new surroundings. Like Raoul, Ernie and Pablo are also neutered, blood tested, vaccinated, and microchipped.
All three Beagles are looking for homes with experience in Beagles or rescue dogs, and they must have access to a secure, private garden. They will need families who are committed to continuing their training, particularly with lead walking and socialisation.
These dogs require families that will invest time and patience to ensure their continued progress. The rescue will consider families with older children.
Applications for adoption will be thoroughly screened, including an application form, deposit, video call, homecheck, and the balance of the adoption costs. The dogs are expected to travel to their new homes in January, after the Christmas period.
