Please meet Stevie! Stevie is 3 years old and based in Sheffield. He’s a medium sized boy, weighing around 20kg, who is looking for a quieter home to move to.
Stevie is intelligent, and loves to learn, he just needs a quiet home to truly thrive in! With the people he trusts, he is a loving soul, adoring playing or cuddles with his people on his terms as he also enjoys his space.
His ideal new humans would work from home and have minimal visitors to give him the company and quiet environment he craves.
Although he doesn’t love other dogs, he still loves going on adventures to the beach or on hikes and is a dream on car rides! He would love a garden too, as he spends sunny days pottering and lounging in the sun!
Stevie can be known to redirect big emotions onto people when he feels very overwhelmed by a situation. However, we believe with the right support, he can learn how to manage these anxiety-based behaviours in a better way.
He has made some great progress already in his current home, he just needs somewhere quieter to really reset. He needs a confident, adult only, home who feel able to manage his anxieties (with full support of course!)
Stevie can display reactive behaviours on walks, and is not tested with cats, so needs to be the only pet in the home.
